I didn't touch this up, it's a Bleacher Report pic. Not sure if you're an NBA fan or not, but it's generally been a sea of salt for the last day or so 😂
In any case objectively speaking it's more a sense of futility than blame unless you blame the 30 GMs of the NBA for inadvertently creating a situation where an NBA All-Star had to proactively call up a club to get hired.
@SlightDashOfColour Not a watcher of any sports, sorry :/
'kay, not an issue. Just my regular shitposting. NTM I skipped out the entire post-season because I burned out of basketball watching anyway 👍
@SlightDashOfColour I didn't mean any disrespect. I just didn't see your messages until now.
I can understand being burned out paying attention to something so much though, trying to keep track of a lot
It's more of an issue with American basketball. If you follow a team that manages to get to the finals, there's a potential >98 games to watch. That's a lot of time expenditure as you get older.
It's the reason I stopped watching soccer altogether outside of select cup/international matches.
@SlightDashOfColour oh my goodness...that is a LOT of time used on something that literally has no bearing on someone's life (no judgement ;) Escapism is necessary)
I barely watch more than 20 in a season at the best of times. This from a man who basically went cold turkey from basketball minutes of any kind for 8+years.
Anyway, watching team sports is more a gestalt experience with a fanbase. I prefer my racquet sports anyway especially as the viewing experience is more intimate and frankly the agony of failure is also amplified. That is, if you're into the schadenfreude side of things. 🤔
@SlightDashOfColour I'm not sure how this would trigger people unless it's specifically for triggering basketball fans
