@angsuman yes, I also think that. It would certainly create a chaos, as most people now use Gmail, but from privacy only standpoint, it is a winning if it's true.
People will look for alternatives, hopefully better and privacy-respecting ones.
@ademalsasa I think the best option for any SMB/SME or even individuals is to host their own email for a low cost.

@angsuman As it should b, though I believe a ban is kinda unnecessary since those services violate the #GDPR and are thus illegal anyway.
